If you’re a regular reader here, then you’ll remember a recent post in which I stated my intentions to self-publish a book based on the Career Kickstarter coaching curriculum I created late last year. Since that post I have had several life-altering experiences, one of which was this year’s World Domination Summit in Portland where I got to hear from Chris Guilebeau’s literary agent, David Fugate.
David successfully convinced me that being published by a major publishign house still has many great advantages, in addition to making me think hard about topics that are truly worth making into a book. Since then I have made the decision to bring Career Kickstarter to life in the form of a self-study coaching program to be hosted on its own website. I hope to have it up within the year, and we’ve started the proposal process with a couple of web design firms to get the work done.
I tell you all of this to let you know that I will not self-publish CK by my birthday, but I am working on plenty of things behind the scenes that will be launched through the Living for Monday websit eover the next 6-12 months. This doesn’t necessarily mean CK will never be a printed book, but for now it’s on hold. I’ll be sure to keep you all updated as we make progress, launch new products and content, and have fun along the way.
Thank for reading as always!
