Have you ever ecountered an idea so intriguing and so demanding that it simply will not let you rest? An idea that speaks to you, creating a lifeless form, urging you to create a medium to allow it to come alive? I have.
I have encountered just such an idea, and it won’t go away. It won’t let the dust pile up without resurfacing. I make an effort to deflect to “a more appropriate party” and yet the idea returns, as strong as ever, and with a more convincing argument of why I must shed the excuses and take action.
There is a book that must be written. It will require hours upon hours of tireless and frustrating effort… And it could be that it ties into the idea of the post which I started yesterday and will now finish. What do you do when an idea will not leave you alone and will not let you rest until it has been appropriately brought to light? You must wake up one day and make the decision to act… But it cannot be done alone. Which is why ‘The Power of Support’ is such a compelling passage. More to come shortly.
